The 24th issue of Weekly Shounen Jump of 2019 revealed on Monday that Taishi Tsutsui's Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai (We Never Learn) manga will receive an original video animation. The new episode will be included with the manga's 14th limited edition volume, shipping on November 1. Pre-orders for the limited edition volume will be accepted through August 26. The 25-minute episode will adapt chapters 48 and 49, which follow Yuiga and Asami going on a fake date, and Yuiga encountering his teacher Mafuyu Kirisu after she accidentally loses her swimsuit top. The volume retailing for 4444 yen (about US$41) will also include an illustration card for the Precious Memories trading card game drawn by Tsutsui. The romantic comedy manga began its serialization in Weekly Shounen Jump in February 2017, with 11 volumes in print as of April 4. Shueisha will publish the 12th compiled volume on June 4. The series has a cumulative 2.3 million copies of its compiled volumes in circulation. The television anime adaptation produced by Silver and Arvo Animation premiered on April 7.
