Gear in Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis are alternate outfits obtained through various means. The most common is tied to the gacha; as the player pulls for weapons, they earn one or more stamps on a card toward guaranteed weapons and gear. Other methods include story progression, Gear Vouchers, and event exchanges. Each character can equip one set of gear, either in Battle, which boosts character stats, or as a Skin, which changes appearance only. Each set of gear has two Reinforcement Abilities
