A Coin Box is an object featured in a few Mario games. They first appear in Super Mario 3D Land. Coin Boxes are blocks with an identical appearance to a Question Block, although in Super Mario 3D World, Coin Boxes have a distinct, shiny glow to it. Whoever uses a Coin Box receives several but limited number of Coins as they move, and in the Super Mario series, Mario or another playable character can wear a Coin Box.
