Magnus Carlsen picked up his first classical win of Norway Chess 2021 by beating Alireza Firouzja in Round 6 with a trademark endgame grind. Richard Rapport extended his lead to three points with four rounds to go by outplaying Aryan Tari after a shaky opening, while the only match to go to Armageddon was Karjakin-Nepomniachtchi.
